 Booking

An appointment is required – I work by pre-arranged appointment only.

The exception is a few WALK-IN days without booking, on dates announced in advance.

As a first step, think about what kind of tattoo you would like, where on your body, and roughly what size (in cm). Based on your ideas I will design a unique, personalized piece for you. Collect inspiration images in a similar style, theme or color palette. Pinterest is an excellent place for this. For lettering tattoos you can choose a typeface on Dafont or Font Squirrel.

Get in touch with this information and these images so I can give you an appointment and a price quote. You can do this by filling in the questionnaire, by message or by phone. I always allocate the appointment based on the design you have chosen. If you change your mind for any reason and would like a different design, that is of course possible. However, the other design may differ from the original in terms of design and working time, so we may need to arrange a new appointment. Please think your booking through, and let me know if anything changes — it makes the logistics easier for me too.

Flexibility – I allocate appointments in the order enquiries come in. If you work shifts, find it hard to plan your time, or are only free on certain days, mornings or afternoons, let me know and we will talk through the options.

 Designing your tattoo

We design your tattoo together, in person. Because discussing and revising a tattoo design over Messenger — or even on a call — is often awkward and time-consuming, I do not send out pre-drawn designs. In person, discussing and designing the piece runs smoothly: I can easily put the tattoo together digitally based on what we have agreed. From there we can keep editing until your dream tattoo takes shape, one that is genuinely about you.

DESIGN and TATTOO in one session – the discussion and the tattoo happen at the same appointment. Ideal for smaller pieces, when the design is settled, when you have been to me before and you are completely sure of your idea. A separate in-person consultation is not necessary; we will schedule the appointment so that there is time for everything.

If you are still unsure, and do not know how or where you would like the tattoo, come in for a separate consultation appointment.

What does a consultation involve?

Consultation WITHOUT design work – we meet in person at the studio, talk through your ideas and the options, you get answers to your questions, and we arrange an appointment for the tattoo. No design is produced at this stage. This session is FREE.

Consultation WITH design work – ideal if you are completely unsure about the design, its size or placement, and would like to try it on. For larger, multi-session pieces (e.g. a full arm) or when covering an earlier tattoo, a consultation is always recommended.

  • We talk it through and I design the piece, in several versions if you like.
  • You receive the finished design, and we can still adjust it at the tattoo appointment.
  • You have time to consider how you feel about it before the tattoo appointment.
  • You can try the design on with transfer paper, in several placements and sizes.
  • This appointment is for design only — no tattooing takes place.

Length and price of a consultation with design work: 1–2 hours, HUF 5,000–10,000 per session.

IMPORTANT: This is not an extra cost — I deduct it from the price of the finished tattoo. You may reschedule a booked tattoo appointment once, for any reason, up to 24 hours before the appointment. If, however, you change your mind and decide against the tattoo, or do not cancel the appointment at least 24 hours in advance, it is non-refundable.

When a tattoo is not possible

If you are ill, or there is inflammation in your body (a cold, a cough, a fever, an infectious illness), I cannot see you at the agreed appointment. A tattoo puts a strain on the body; ideally you should be completely healthy for a week before the session. If you are not feeling well in the days beforehand, do let me know. If you have a chronic condition, take medication or have allergies, tell me and consult your doctor.

Tattooing is only possible on intact skin — in the case of an injury or sunburn we will find a new appointment. If there is any skin lesion, varicose vein, scar or a large number of moles in the area, let me know, send a photo and consult a dermatologist.

For women, tattooing during pregnancy or breastfeeding is NOT PERMITTED.

Menstruation is not a barrier, but you may be more sensitive, so it is worth not booking your appointment for that time.

Under 18 but over 16 I can take on a tattoo only in individual cases, with a parent present and a signed declaration.

 Preparing for your appointment

  • If your skin is dry, use body lotion in the 1–2 weeks before your appointment and drink plenty of fluids.
  • The day before and on the day, avoid alcohol and caffeinated drinks.
  • Arrive well rested and not on an empty stomach; if you know you will be here for several hours, bring food and drinks you like.
  • Choose clothes you do not mind getting marked, that are comfortable and that let you easily expose the area where you want the design without feeling uncomfortable.

Try to pick a relaxed day for your tattoo, one where you are not in a hurry. A tattoo lasts a lifetime; the design takes time, so that you can decide how you really feel about it. I allocate every appointment with plenty of time for this.

If you fall ill in the week before your tattoo, or are not feeling well, always let me know, because the session has to be postponed — even for a common cold. Illness weakens the body, can affect proper healing and the result of the tattoo, and others can catch it too.

 Arrival

My address: Premier Ink. Tattoo, 8200 Veszprém, Szeglethy József u. 1., Belvárosi Üzletház, 2nd floor, unit 212

The building opens at 8:30; before that you can come up to the 2nd floor by elevator from the parking garage or the ground floor. If you arrive after 18:00 or at the weekend, come to the rear stairwell (service) entrance next to the underground parking garage and call me so I can let you in.
+36 70 637 0408

Please arrive on time for your appointment, no more than 10 minutes early. If you are running late, let me know. After half an hour I can no longer guarantee your slot.

If someone is coming with you, let me know. For tattoos lasting several hours I cannot always accommodate a companion. For matching designs it is of course possible to arrive together — in fact, for the design stage I recommend that everyone be here so we can discuss it together.

 Cancellation

I do not ask for a deposit; only consultation appointments carry a design fee. Things come up — the sooner you tell me, the more easily we can arrange a new appointment. That way someone else gets the chance of an earlier slot and I do not lose working hours.

If last-minute cancellations, or appointments that are not cancelled at all, happen repeatedly, I will not be able to take on the work. Thank you for supporting my work by booking thoughtfully and letting me know in good time, at least 24 hours in advance, if it no longer works for you.

What you need to know about aftercare

To keep your tattoo looking good for the long term, it is important to take care of the aftercare.

Treat your healing tattoo with Bepanthen ointment or cream, or with an aftercare product made for the purpose. You can buy Tattoo Goo and Inkness aftercare from me. While the tattoo is scabbed, do not soak it: swimming, working out, saunas and tanning beds are off limits for at least a week and a half to 2 weeks. Book thoughtfully so that you can look after it (do not come right before a holiday, a trip or a ski break). In summer, sunbathing is off limits while it heals. Sun protection matters later on too — use sunscreen on your healed tattoo.

Occasionally a single session may not give a 100% result. Once it has healed completely, let us arrange a FREE touch-up appointment within six months. If any questions come up, do get in touch.

The healing process can vary depending on your skin type and individual factors. If you notice anything unusual, please let me know.
